The Matrice 4E is designed for fast and accurate aerial imaging. The wide-angle camera's 20 MP sensor and mechanical shutter are especially suitable for orthophotography and photogrammetry. The 0.5-second shooting interval enables rapid data collection even over large areas.

With the Smart 3D Capture function, a rough model of the target can be created with the controller, and more precise flight paths can be formed based on it, for example, for imaging buildings and other complex targets.

The Matrice 4E camera system offers three different focal lengths for working needs. The 4/3-inch 20 MP wide-angle camera is suitable for precise mapping, the 48 MP medium telephoto facilitates target inspection, and the 48 MP telephoto camera allows for detailed imaging from further away. In addition, the system includes a laser rangefinder.

RTK – Precise Positioning

RTK GNSS enables centimeter-level positioning and improves the georeferencing of mapping data. DJI states that the RTK Fix accuracy is at best 1 cm + 1 ppm horizontally and 1.5 cm + 1 ppm vertically.

Thanks to RTK, the Matrice 4E is suitable for precise surveying and mapping work where the positional accuracy of the data is important.

Smart and Safe Flying

The Matrice 4E utilizes an omnidirectional vision system and an underside 3D infrared sensor for obstacle detection. The system supports safer flying and helps detect obstacles in the environment from different directions.
